Data Engineer

Fully remote Contractors welcome

You'll work directly with our customers to integrate their data feeds — prices, forecasts, telemetry, schedules — with our optimiser platform, and build the pipelines that keep them flowing reliably in production.

What you bring

  • Strong Python, including packages like numpy, pandas, and polars
  • Rust is a plus
  • Comfortable working with LLM/AI tools such as Claude, Mistral Vibe, or OpenCode
  • File formats such as CSV and Parquet, and Apache Hive
  • REST APIs and WebSockets
  • Docker, AWS, and Git
  • Ideally, prior exposure to trading on power markets
  • A constructive, hands-on attitude to getting integrations built — and built to a high standard, including compliance with all applicable local regulations
  • A collaborative nature — you'll work closely with our account managers, our internal engineering team, and our customers

  • Fully remote.
  • Acceptable timezones: between UTC and UTC+4, or UTC+8 to UTC+12
